How to create a new Application with existing Entities

This Tutorial requires a previous execution of How to add a Custom List Field to an Entity.

This tutorial describes how to create a new Application with existing Entities. An Application defines which set of Tabs is currently displayed. Create new Applications or customize existing Applications by adding Entities and defining Tab Groups.. It requires a previous execution of How to add a Custom List Field to an Entity.

  1. Move the mouse over the label
    Administration
    in the top right corner (without clicking it)
  2. A panel containing all the different admin options will pop up: on this panel click on label
    Applications

  3. Click on the green button
    + Application
    on top of the main workspace area
  4. A new Application is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the Application can be set
  5. Enter into field
    Name
    Idea Manager

  6. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
  7. The new Application is now saved to the database
  8. Click on the Close-Icon
    X
    in the top right corner of the pop up to close the window
  9. Click in the text input field
    Add Entities
    in the top right corner of the screen
  10. A pop up containing a list of existing Entities will be displayed
  11. Select entry
    Topic
    from this list by clicking on it. If
    Topic
    is not yet shown, enter characters
    T
    ,
    o
    ,
    p
    , etc. until it is displayed
  12. Click in the text input field
    Add Entities
    in the top right corner of the screen
  13. A pop up containing a list of existing Entities will be displayed
  14. Select entry
    Idea
    from this list by clicking on it. If
    Idea
    is not yet shown, enter characters
    I
    ,
    d
    ,
    e
    , etc. until it is displayed
