Add state and a selection field with a Custom List

This Tutorial requires a previous execution of Add rich text content to an Entity.

This tutorial describes how to add a Custom List (Single Selection) Field to an Entity. Custom Lists allow you to define the values a combo box may contain. It requires a previous execution of Add rich text content to an Entity.

  1. Move the mouse over the label
    Administration
    in the top right corner (without clicking it)
  2. A panel containing all the different admin options will pop up: on this panel click on label
    Entities
  3. In the list view on the left side of the pop up, click on the item
    Idea
  4. Click on the green button
    + Field
    on top of the main workspace area
  5. A new Field is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the Field can be set
  6. Change selection field to
    Type
    Custom List (Single Selection)
  7. Enter into field
    Label
    State
  8. Enter into field
    Field Name
    State
  9. Change selection field to
    Custom list
    [New Custom List]
  10. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
  11. The new Field is now saved to the database
  12. Click on the cogwheel icon right next to selection field
    Custom list
  13. Click on the green button
    New Element
    on top of the main workspace area
  14. A new Element is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the Element can be set
  15. Enter into field
    Name
    Draft
  16. Enter into field
    Color
    #0000FF
  17. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
  18. The new Custom List is now saved to the database
  19. Click on the green button
    New Element
    on top of the main workspace area
  20. A new Element is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the Element can be set
  21. Enter into field
    Name
    Implemented
  22. Enter into field

    #00AA00
  23. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
