The CSV to Markdown converter converts CSV data into a GFM pipe table directly in your browser, with column alignment and a cell mode: “safe text” escapes HTML characters, while “inline Markdown” preserves Markdown and HTML syntax for later interpretation. A ragged-row policy controls how rows with a differing column count are handled.
Important: GFM pipe tables don't support true multiline cells, which is why a multiline mode exists for cell content with line breaks. Very wide tables quickly become hard to read in Markdown; shorten column names and review the preview before using it.
