Good to know

The overlay tool structurally combines each base PDF with a single layer PDF directly in your browser — as a foreground over the content or as a background behind it. Several page-mapping modes are available: first page on all, sequential, sequential with the last page repeated, cyclic repeat, even/odd only, and a custom range.

Pages are combined structurally without rasterizing; the layer PDF is not automatically scaled or repositioned, so page size and the preview should be checked beforehand. Multiple base PDFs can be combined with the same layer in a batch; results are bundled as a ZIP.
