PDF to Word/OpenDocument offers three layout modes instead of a single conversion style: “Block” keeps the original layout and positions as close to the source as possible (best for tables and fixed layouts), “Flow” creates a continuously editable Word document with tables, lists, links, and images, and “Text only” extracts plain text without layout. Output formats are DOCX for Word and ODT for LibreOffice/OpenOffice.
Typical searches include PDF to Word, PDF to DOCX, and PDF to OpenDocument. Conversion runs locally in the browser. The tool does not include OCR - scanned pages are not turned into editable text; use PDF to Images instead for full page images.

What's the difference between Block, Flow, and Text only?
Block keeps positions and layout as close to the original as possible and is limited to a maximum number of pages per file. Flow creates a continuously editable document with tables, lists, links, and images. Text only extracts plain text without layout, images, or links.
Does the tool work with scanned PDFs?
No, OCR is not included. Scanned pages are not turned into editable text. Use PDF to Images instead to export the pages as full image files.
Are tables and images preserved?
In Flow mode, yes, as far as possible, including tables, lists, safe links, and embedded images. In Block mode, the exact position is also preserved. In Text only mode, tables, images, and links are not carried over.
