Create a new E-Mail Template

This Tutorial requires a previous execution of Add state and a selection field with a Custom List.

This tutorial describes how to create a new E-Mail Template. Create E-Mail-Templates to conveniently send pre-formulated E-Mails and inform other users about entity states. It requires a previous execution of Add state and a selection field with a Custom List.

  1. Move the mouse over the label
    Administration
    in the top right corner (without clicking it)
  2. A panel containing all the different admin options will pop up: on this panel click on label
    E-Mail Templates
  3. In the tree view on the left side of the pop up, click on the node
    Idea
  4. Click on the green button
    + E-Mail Template
    on top of the main workspace area
  5. A new E-Mail Template is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the E-Mail Template can be set
  6. Enter into field
    Name
    Ideas
  7. Enter into field
    Subject
    Idea has been accepted
  8. Enter into field
    Body
    Dear {Sender.firstName}, the Idea {Idea.name} has been accepted. Kind Regards, Your Idea Management System
  9. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
  10. The new E-Mail Template is now saved to the database
  11. Click on the Close-Icon
    X
    in the top right corner of the pop up to close the window
