Custom list views with List Templates

This Tutorial requires a previous execution of Define a data record with an Entity.

This tutorial describes how to create a new List Template. Create personalized lists for list views. For each list, you can define which data should be displayed and how.

  1. Move the mouse over the label
    Administration
    in the top right corner (without clicking it)
  2. A panel containing all the different admin options will pop up: on this panel click on label
    List Templates
  3. In the tree view on the left side of the pop up, click on the node
    Idea
  4. Click on the green button
    + List Template
    on top of the main workspace area
  5. A new List Template is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the List Template can be set
  6. Enter into field
    Name
    Ideas
  7. Click in the text input field
    Filter Query
  8. A pop up containing a list of existing Filter Queries will be displayed
  9. Select entry
    Ideas
    from this list by clicking on it. If
    Ideas
    is not yet shown, enter characters
    I
    ,
    d
    ,
    e
    , etc. until it is displayed
  10. Enter into field
    Column 1
    {Idea.name} created at {Idea.createdAt} by {Idea.createdBy}
  11. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
  12. The new List Template is now saved to the database
  13. Click on the Close-Icon
    X
    in the top right corner of the pop up to close the window
