How to create a new Graph Template

This Tutorial requires a previous execution of How to add a Custom List Field to an Entity.

This tutorial describes how to create a new Graph Template. With Graph Templates you can specify dynamic Graphs and Diagrams. These can be integrated into the Dashboard or displayed if needed. It requires a previous execution of How to add a Custom List Field to an Entity.

1. Move the mouse over the label
   Administration
   in the top right corner (without clicking it)
   
2. A panel containing all the different admin options will pop up: on this panel click on label
   Graph Templates
   
   
3. In the tree view on the left side of the pop up, click on the node
   Idea
   
   
4. Click on the green button
   + Graph Template
   on top of the main workspace area
   
5. A new Graph Template is created and a form panel comes up where attributes of the Graph Template can be set
   
6. Enter into field

   Name

   Ideas

   
   
7. Click in the text input field
   Filter Query
   
   
8. A pop up containing a list of existing Filter Queries will be displayed
   
9. Select entry
   Ideas
   from this list by clicking on it. If
   Ideas
   is not yet shown, enter characters
   I
   ,
   d
   ,
   e
   , etc. until it is displayed
   
10. Change selection field to

    Graph type

    Summary Graph

    
    
11. Change selection field to

    X-Axis

    Idea.state

    
    
12. Change selection field to

    Y-Axis Operation

    Count

    
    
13. Change selection field to

    Y-Axis

    Idea

    
    
14. Change selection field to

    Default view

    Pie Chart

    
    
15. Click on the blue button
    Save
    below the attributes form panel
    
16. The new Graph Template is now saved to the database
