Do I need an account to use Split?
No. You start a group right in the app. Expenses and settlements are stored on your device first.
What happens to the details I enter in this form?
The group name and names are only passed to the Split app inside the link. The draft is saved only after you have reviewed and confirmed it in Split.
Does Split work without internet?
Yes. Split is an installable web app (PWA). You can add expenses without a connection and carry on later.
Do I have to add payment details?
No. Payment details are optional. Split works as a shared overview even if you prefer not to share sensitive information.
