What happens if we have no signal while travelling?
Split saves every expense on the device right away. As soon as you're back online, it syncs the entries with the rest of the group.
How do we split costs when not everyone joined in?
For each expense you choose who took part and how it's split: equally, by shares or with a fixed amount per person. Whoever skipped the excursion doesn't pay for it.
Can we add expenses in the local currency?
Yes, with Premium: you pick the currency for the entry, and Split converts it into your group currency using the ECB reference rate. You can adjust the rate yourselves if needed.
Who pays whom at the end of the trip?
Split suggests a settlement with as few transfers as possible. You send the money yourselves, for example with your banking app, and then mark the payment as paid in Split.
