How do we split the pitch fee when people stay for different lengths?

Add the fee per stretch, such as “Pitch Friday to Sunday”, and pick who was there. Or add it once by shares, with the number of nights as each person's share.

We're buying an awning together. Does it belong in the group?

Yes, if you share it. Whoever keeps it after the trip can buy the others' shares – add that as a transfer.

Is it a problem that the campsite has no Wi-Fi?

No. Split works offline and syncs as soon as there's signal again.
