Split by shares or percent

Not everyone pays the same? With shares, a couple pays double; with percent, you can split rent by room size.

Step by step

1. 1

   Pick “By shares”

   When adding the expense, choose “By shares” under “Split”. A field appears for each person.

   Enter units

   With “Units”, enter how many shares each person has: 1 for single, 2 for double, 0 for not involved. Split divides the amount in proportion.

   Or pick percent

   Tap “Percent” to enter percentages. Below the fields Split shows how much is left to distribute; together they must make 100%.

   Save

   Tap “Save expense”. If the split doesn't add up, Split tells you why.
