How Split helps

    Whoever was in the car shares fuel and parking. Everyone shares the camp, the gazebo and the shopping. You pick the participants for each expense.

    A cup deposit or a refund you get back goes in as income. Split shares it among those who paid.

There's often no signal at festivals. Does Split still work?

Yes. Split saves expenses on your phone and syncs them with the group as soon as there's signal again. Adding and viewing works offline too.

Do the tickets belong in the group?

If one person bought them for everyone, yes. Then you see right away what everyone owes them. If everyone bought their own, leave them out.

How do we share costs when not everyone travels in the same car?

Everyone shares the camp and the shopping. Fuel and parking are shared only by the people in that car. You pick the participants for each expense.
