The power contract is in my name. How do I get the money back?
Add each payment as your expense, shared by everyone. Split then always shows what the others owe you and suggests the transfers when you settle up.
How do we split a back payment when someone moved out during the year?
Split the back payment by shares, for example by months: whoever lived there eight months gets eight shares, the others twelve. Whoever moved out stays in the group until it's settled.
Can Split add the monthly bills by itself?
Not yet. Recurring expenses are planned for Premium. Until then, add the monthly payment yourself.
