Install on your computer
On a computer, too, Split runs as its own app: with an icon in the start menu or dock and its own window. It's easiest with Chrome or Edge.

Step by step

Open Split
Open Split in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Install
At the top of Split's start screen, click “Install” in the hint “Install as app”. Alternatively, click the install icon on the right of the address bar or choose “Install app” in the browser menu.

Start
Split opens in its own window and sits in the start menu, the dock or your applications.
Good to know
- On a Mac, Safari works too from macOS Sonoma: in the “File” menu, choose “Add to Dock”.
- Without a secured account, each installation has its own data. Secure your account to use your groups on phone and computer.
