Archive or leave a group

Once a trip is settled, move the group to the archive. If you don't need it at all any more, you can leave it.

Step by step

    Archive

    Open the group and choose “Archive group” in the group menu. It leaves your list and appears under “Your groups” in the “Archived” section.

    Bring it back

    Under “Your groups”, tap “Archived”, open the group and choose “Restore from archive” in the group menu.

  3. 3

    Leave

    Choose “Leave group” in the group menu and confirm with “Leave”. The group disappears from your devices; the other members keep it.

Good to know

  • Archiving only applies to you. The others still see the group as before.
  • If you still have an open balance, Split points it out when you leave. Best settle it first.
  • Deleting a group for everyone isn't possible. Split deletes inactive, settled groups automatically after announcing it.
