Rename a group or change its currency
Typo in the name, or the trip goes somewhere else after all? You can rename a group at any time, and change its currency as long as nothing has been added yet.

Step by step

Open “Edit group”
Open the group, tap the group menu at the top and choose “Edit group”.

Change name or currency
Enter the new name under “Group name” or pick another currency under “Currency”. Tap “Save”.
Good to know
- The change applies to every member of the group.
- The currency can only change while the group has no entries, because all amounts and balances are kept in it. Add amounts in other currencies with an exchange rate.
- Split remembers a new name offline too and syncs it later. Changing the currency needs an internet connection.
